VOLLEYBALL by Abigail Agaran Volleyball is intense like the first drop of a rollercoaster. Intense like the rush of a wild river. Intense like the Spanish Bull Run! Digging a spiked ball is like an instant high no drug can give you. Volleyball is as frightening as a midnight ghost story. It is like living and dying. Half of it is as fear provoking as making close contact with the king of the jungle Half of it as soothing as dawn breaking A bump is like breathing in. A set is like exhaling. A kill is adrenaline to the blood stream The team is a family. I will encourage them on and off the court. With my words I will comfort them. Listen to a sister in need. We belong to a common goal, to be great at what we do. Play hard, my fellow teammates, I will be right there with you.
